ooon alter laKing my narmomca on the road I noticed that drivers of K-9 units, stopped at a light with me, were wondering why their partners begin howling for no apparent reason. To my knowledge, there's no breed of dog that won't sing along with me. Big dogs in SUVs with their families are another great singing phenomenon, as are Rotties and Labs riding in pickups.
My wife, Shannon (not her real name) has often hidden her head in embarrassment when I'd "yip" at a dog when stopped at a light. She just doesn't share my glee at getting a big dog barking in an enclosed space.
Everyone needs a hobby. Oh, and to my law enforcement friends here in the county — just kidding. Really.
