RCHS Principal Jack Raines reported that last week's senior auction netted the class more than $6500.
Senior trip okayed
Renee Goodwin presented the proposed senior class trip itinerary to the School Board for its approval. She noted that the trip would begin on March 15, and take the class to Florida for visits to Islands of Adventure, Cocoa Beach, and an Orlando Magic basketball game. The class had priced the trip with bus ($328 per student) and air travel ($507 per student) options, and the $6500 in auction receipts will provide about $100 per student toward the trip cost. Superintendent Dr. David Gangel recommended approval of the class trip, "pending further review", and the School Board unanimously agreed.
