Students were able to vote • in a "real" voting booth and the Student Advisory Council (collected votes from the whole School. Teachers submitted the ballots. As a result of this election, George W. Bush won. Congratulations, students for your work on this very important project! And thanks to our very capable student reporters.
• Mr. Mike Tupper, assistant Principal of RCHS has worked tirelessly to reorganize the Resource Block at RCHS for the greatest student advantage. Remediation will be available for all students in need of it, and he is looking for staff members and volunteers who would be willing to present a unit of study in some interesting artistic, musical, scientific, or technological area for students who are not involved in remediation or club activities. It would be a commitment of approximately one Lour every other day for one grading period. Please call Mr. Tupper with questions, ideas, or offers of support at 987-8575.
The first 20 minutes of the Resource Block school-wide at RCHS is dedicated to reading, for pleasure, information or class work. It is important that students have as many opportunities to read as possible, and providing this unencumbered time will help to improve reading skills for all areas of study.
