We also offer rigorous courses/programs in which students may choose to participate. We offer Advanced Placement classes, Dual Enrollment classes with LFCC, and this school year we began implementing the Cambridge University International Curriculum in grades 610 English and 6th grade Science. In addition we offer top programs in Fine Arts and Career-Technical Education.
Recently the Rappahannock County School Board voted to support the development of the Mountain Vista Governor’s School which, if approved by the State Board of Education and the Virginia GeneralAssembly may start as early as fall 2006. If the Mountain Vista Governor’s School is approved in the local budget process, up to four high performing RCHS students could enroll in the grades 11-12 program at LFCC that features integrated Math, Science, Technology, and Humanities.
