Atkins-Snider to wed
■ Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Atkins of Sperryville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kelly Renee Atkins to Edward Raymond Snider of The Plains Va.
The bride to be is the granddaughter of Flossie Wharton and the late Kinsey Wharton of Woodville, and the late Lyle and Christina Atkins of Sperryville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Marshall of Warrenton and Ray and Susan Snider of The Plains, Va.
Atkins is a 2002 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and a current student at Lord Fairfax Community College pursing a degree in education as well as science. She is employed by the The Child Care and Learning Center in Washington.
Snider is a 2001 graduate of Fauquier High School and is currently a senior at Radford University. He will graduate with honors in May 2006 with a bachelors degree in Computer Science. He is employed by M C Dean in Dulles Va.
The wedding date is set for July 8, 2006.
