Social Services Department Financial Accountant in the Department of Social Services will assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day financial operations of the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Position duties include complex stale and federal drawdowns and reporting for various grants within the department. Assists in the year-end closing process for all grants Responsible for the monitoring of the revenue maximization program established in the County and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in cooperation with the Department of Management and Financial Services Accounting division. Responsible for superv ision of financial staff. Must be proficiencv id Excel and possess excellent communications skills. Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and four years of directly related accounting experience to include at least 6 months of supervisory experience.
