December 4: Christmas
in Little Washington
The Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association is sponsoring “Christmas in Little Washington” from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The holiday cheer begins with a Holiday Parade at 12:30 on Main Street in Washington. Santa Claus will be on hand at Sunnyside Square and many of the town’s businesses are planning open houses. Stop in at the Washington Baptist Church for Brunswick Stew or Christmas Chili and decorate a Gingerbread man or two. The Rappahannock County High School band will be performing and marching in the parade.

December 6-9: Wakefield
Country Day School Book Fair
The Old Sperryville Bookshop will be conducting a book fair at WCDS Tuesday, December 6th through Friday, December 9th each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30. p.m. The sale, which is a fundraiser for the school, will include books recommended by WCDS teachers, new releases, and gift books for preschool through 12th grade readers. December 11: Santa Claus at Gray Ghost Vineyard
Avoid the mall and chaos of commercialism! Santa makes a visit to Gray Ghost on Sunday, December 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free event and every child receives a special gift.
