Call to artists and craftsmen
The Middle Street Gallery, a non-profit artists’ gallery in Washington, Virginia is seeking works by outstanding area artists for their holiday season show and sale.
The gallery is located next to the Inn at Little Washington and is among a growing number of shops and galleries in the legion where one-of-a-kind gifts are featured.

Lord Fairfax Community College
holds Spring Registration
Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) will hold its spring registration period Nov. 7 through Dec. 7 and Dec. 12 through Dec. 21, 2005. Classes for the spring 2006 semester begin on Monday, Jan. 0, 2006. Late registration will be available Jan. 3 through Jan. 6, 2006.
Individuals interested in attending LFCC must first complete and submit a free application for admission to the College. For faster service, online applications are available at https://apply.vccs.edu. Once the application has been submitted, prospective students should print a copy as confirmation of their acceptance to LFCC. It is also important that students record their Student Information System Identification (SIS ID) number, because this number is the key to their student records.
Prospective students may also complete a paper application available on the College’s Web site at httpJ/ www.lfcc.edu or in the Admissions and Records Department on the Fauquier and Middletown Campuses. A paper application requires several days for processing. Afterwards, students will receive a letter of admission and their SIS ID number in the mail.
Students with applications on file and with valid ID numbers may register online through Dec. 7 and Dec. 12 through 21, 2005, by clicking on the SMARTWeb link on LFCC’s Web site.
