7:20 a.m. November 9, Wednesday.
Barry - Gouh, 49, of Amissville pulled onto Rt.613 at the intersection with Rt.669 near the Culpeper County line. Gouh, driving a 1983 Ford Ranger, failed to notice an oncoming 2002 Chevy Cavalier driven by a 16year-old female, also from Amissville. Her Cavalier struck Gouh’s Ranger on the passenger side, sustaining $4,000 in damages and causing about $500 in damage to Gouh’s vehicle. Neither driver was injured. State Trooper Derrick Mauck responded to the scene of the accident. While running a routine check on the licenses of the two drivers, Trooper Mauck discovered that Gouh was a wanted fugitive in Maryland for theft. Mauck, with the assistance of Rappahannock County Deputy Tony Leake, placed Gouh under arrest. A search of Gouh’s vehicle uncovered a rifle, a pistol, marijuana, and other narcotics. Gouh is a con
