The last time Democrats carried Rappahannock County for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General and Delegate was 1965.
Before then Virginia went reliably Democratic, but it was a different era, and the party labels meant different things.
Since the changes of the late 1960s, both the state and our county have grown more and more reliably Republican.
