Easement Updates
More easement protection for North Poes Road
By donating two easements to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation (both recorded on November 4), Marie W. Ridder has completed easement protection of the property she owns in Rappahannock County. Both easements extend from North Poes Road to the Jordan River. One easement protects 248-acre “Windrush” (and 4,000 feet of the Jordan), the other a 59-acre parcel across the road from the easement-protected property of Stephanie Ridder (Marie's daughter) and husband John Beardsley.
Countywide, 21,404 Rappahannock acres — 15.79c of all private land — are now protected by conservatioh easements.
