Attention to Nia students: due to a recent ankle injury, this month’s Nia classes will be focusing on movement basics. If you’ve wanted to try Nia, but were concerned it may move too quickly for you this is a great time to come in, slow down, and get a good understanding of Nia’s foundation-52 moves derived from dance, martial arts, and healing art forms. Also some classes will be introducing newly certified Nia instructor, Linda Heimstra.

Ballet is a fun way to get fit and gain strength and flexibility. Registration is now' open for ballet classes being held at Belle Meade Schoolhouse in Rappahannock County. Creative Movement, Pre-ballet, Ballet and Adult Ballet will be taught by Meghan Cupp, a former professional ballet dancer, from October through December. GED Classes
Enroll now for GED classes in Rappahannock County. Evening GED classes are designed for adults over the age of 18 years old. Classes are Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. You must register with Regional Adult Education for PD # 9 in order to enroll in class. There is a $25 assessment fee for pre and post test assessments, but the class and books are free. Enrollment is liniited to 8 students, so call early to reserve your seat.
