March 15: Rappahannock
County Garden Club Meeting
The March meeting of the Rappahannock County Garden Club is set for Wednesday, March 15, at the Washington Fire Hall at 1 p.m. The program for this meeting is on African Violets, presented by Richard Follett. Minor bulbs, Hellebores, and flowering branches will be displayed for Horticulture, and two design classes are scheduled, for a parallel design, and the other a sculptural form design. The public is welcome at this meeting, and the club welcomes guests and questions. Call Ruth Baumgardner, at 675-3371 for other information.

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Culpeper Chapter #73 cordially invite the Students of Rappahannock County to participate in their annual Essay contest. There is a category for High School, Middle and Elementary age students. Private and Home Schooled students are encouraged to enter as well!
