The sound and the fury has finally died down a bit since the VP sprinkled his lawyer buddy with bird shot on a quail hunt. I must say, the situation was ripe for making political hay and the jokesters have had a field day.
I didn’t have a dog in that fight, but, frankly, if Cheney wants to shoot a few more lawyers, I don’t have much of a problem with that. What was of interest to me was to read what was reported in the papers, and try to make some sense of what the writers were trying to say.
