School Budget
A School 8oard budget hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County High School Band Room. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comments on the School Board's proposed 2006-2007 school budget. The proposed budget includes a funding request of $8,126,769 from county funds and a total proposed budget of $11,882,886. A summary of the proposed budget is posted on the school's website at www.rappahannock.k12.va.us.
Section 42.1-79.1 of the Code of Virginia authorizes Virginia Public Agencies holding medical records to destroy such records after they have been retained for the time periods specified therein. In accordance with this law, the Rappahannock Co. Health Dept, intends after March 15, 2006 to destroy inactive outpatient medical records held by the Rappahannock Co. Health Dept, for patients seen before 1999 in Family Planning, Maternity, Child Health, and WIC clinics at 491-A Main St., Washington, VA 22747.
