Obituaries
years, James (Ludd) Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She was the proud owner of five racehorses and loved going to Charles Tbwn Races to see them run. She also loved working in her yard. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Esther Marie Frazier and her husband, William “Bill” Frazier, of Clifton, Virginia, and Nancy Lee Jenkins and her husband, Charles “Butch” Jenkins of Culpeper. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, William “Billy” Frazier and Karen Frazier of Charles Town, West Virginia, Sharon Frazier of Inwood, West Virginia, Junior Jenkins of Clifton, Virginia, Jamie Jenkins of Bealton, Tammy Jenkins of Gainesville, and Crystal Jenkins of Front Royal. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Jenkins is preceded in death by one son, James Lud Jenkins, Jr., a twin sister, Mary Harding, another sister, Rebecca Nichols, and two brothers, James Stanley and Charles Ashby Jenkins.
Pallbearers were Bill Frazier, Alvin Meadows, Grover and Trevor Sommers, Junior Jenkins and Buddy Patton.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 7, at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating. Interment followed at Sperryville Cemetery.
