Eying ahead

For the future, Estes sees emergency communications, investment in the public schools and the planned Town of Washington wastewater sewer plant as key to the long term well being of the county.

“I’m for cell towers. Being able to call- they save fives.”

And while he emphasizeed that the Town of Washington is distinct from the county, he is frustrated by ongoing delays in finalizing plans for the sewer plant.
