Following the success of the First Annual Homecoming held last Fall, The Foundation is planning a second fund raiser on April 29, 3-6 p.m. The event will be a “Gospel Fest” featuring local performers.
The Theatre at Washington, Virginia is the venue. The Country Cafe will provide refreshments. As this is a fund raiser, a nominal fee will be charged for the festivities. The Foundation’s Directors anticipate a capacity crowd for the benefit of this “important historic preservation project.” Tickets will soon be available from the Directors, friends, and the usual local business establishments, or you may call Mrs. Warner to reserve your seats.
