Domestic Assault
Gary Lynn Dawson, 34, of Sperryville was arrested with Domestic Assault and Battery after an incident that occurred on Main Street in Sperryville. According to the Sheriff’s office, Dawson arrived home and saw two men talking to his wife.
As he moved to confront one of the men, his wife stood in between them, whereupon Dawson pushed her out of the way. Later his wife reported the incident and obtained a warrant from the magistrate. RCSO Deputy Frank Coffey investigated the incident that occurred on July 9.
Drunken Argument
Thomas R. Berry, 36, was arrested on July 14 by a RCSO deputy for being Drunk in Public. According to the Sheriff’s office, Berry’s mother called the Sheriff’s Office to report that he was arguing with his girlfriend. The incident occurred on Richmond Road.
