Ttook my kids to the JLAmissville Fire Hall on Saturday night for Connie Smith’s campaign for sheriff kick-off. The barbecue was delicious and the huge Dalmatian dog moon bounce was a big hit with the all the kids there. The fire department did a wonderful job facilitating the event (not endorsing a particular candidate) and it was nice to see so many friendly faces.
In such a festive atmosphere, it’s easy to lose sight of the important decision Rappahannock voters will face in November and the effect our decision will have on the county for years to come.
