Program, Health Promotion, Sr. Employment, Tax Assistance, Transportation, Medicare Counseling, other advocacy programs. Meet Dept mgmt plan, budget, and complex compliance objectives. Ensure compliance with fed., state and county requirements. Direct supervision of six staff, oversee volunteer training. Research local and state resource info., manage several grants. Promote public awareness of services, resources, senior issues. Develop strong relations w/Northem VA Aging network. Must be on forefront of aging related trends, legislation and issues such as housing & transportation needs and their impacts on senior population, division. Bachelor's degree in gerontology, social work or related field with three years experience working with elderly Prior supervisory experience req. Master's degree preferred.
