esting classes. She said that the classes taught here a lot about acting, making a character more truthful and fine tuning her movement. “I even took a class on clowning,” she chuckled, “It sounds silly but it was a lot of fun.”
The students received a certificate of completion during the closing ceremonies and students were allowed to share with everyone present how the Governor’s School affected their fives.
All of the girls agreed that the main reason for going to the program was to spruce up their college application. What they found was a program that prepared them for the entire college experience.
“Governor’s school was all about learning, but it also helped you gain a sense of self,” Daly said, “The experience pushed you farther intellectually and personally than normal school classes.”
