The RCPS maintains a Crisis Management Plan developed in cooperation with Rappahannock County Emergency personnel, the Sheriff’s Department, and the State Police.
During the spring of 2007 a team of school administrators, health professionals and a parent volunteer put together a preliminary Pandemic Flu Plan.
More information on this plan will be made available during the first semester. It includes protocols for communication among school and health officials, employees, parents and students in the event of an impending epidemic.
