Driving series
in August
The Potomac River Driving Association will host a series of four beginner carriage driving lessons on Wednesdays in August. Sessions are at 6 p.m. at the Morven Park Equestrian Center in Leesburg. No riding or driving experience is required.
The series is hands-on and all lesson material is included. Participants will learn about harnessing, driving bits, ground driving, reinsmanship, carriage and cart types, proper attire and more. Details are at (703) 751-5717.

The Middleburg Orange County Pony Club will host a combined test and dressage show this Saturday, Aug. 4, at Glenwood Park in Middleburg.
