Ride with the
Trailhlazers
The Trailhlazers riding club will host a ride Aug. 18 at 8:30 a.m. from Hunter’s Rest near Flint Hill. The two-hour ride will feature a “slow” pace, making it a good opportunity for taking out young horses. A potluck picnic follows the ride. New club members are welcome to attend. Old Dominion
rides set
The Old Dominion Hounds will host open trail rides Aug. 11 at the hunter trial field in Orlean, Aug. 18 at a location to be determined, and Aug. 25 at Windsor Lodge in Flint Hill. All rides are at 9 a.m. and include two groups — “walking only” and a jumping group.
