So, your little tyke’s got an arm like Ehray, a jumper like Bird, and a slap shot like Gretzky.
In your mind, he’s the next Marino, Jordan, or Lemieux. Heck, who knows, he may be all three. Yes siree, there’s no doubt that Junior is on the Cast track to the NFL, NBA, or NHL.
Well, not so Cast. ' The NCAA recently conducted a study on the probability of a high school athlete competing in athletics beyond the high school level. And Junior’s chances aren’t looking so good.
Only four percent of all high school athletes will go on to play their respective sport at an NCAA sanctioned institution. And less than one percent of all high school athletes will make it to the professional level.
