Spay and Neuter Program
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL) today opens its new spay and neuter program for cats and dogs. The costs of “fixing” pets are reduced dramatically: male cats, $35; females, $50; male dogs, $55; female dogs, $65.00. (Small additional charges may apply, depending on the animal’s vaccination history.) Owners will register and pay in person at the RAWL shelter in Amissviile. First come, first served. Act now: the operations are performed by the Shenandoah Valley Spay and Neuter din ic in Harrisonburg, where the animals will be operated on. Pets will be picked up at and returned to Amissviile.
