Helen B. Ziemer

Amissville resident

Helen Bette Ziemer, formerly of Amissville, passed away Sunday, July 29.

She is survived by her husband Howard; daughter Janis and her husband Jim of Amelia, VA; her son Scott and his wife Carol of Crozet, VA; two grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren.

Helen and Howard had been married more than 63 years. She loved playing music, painting, country living and her church. She was a good Navy wife and enjoyed traveling and the many places they were stationed during their 24 years in the service.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be sent to First Church of Christ, Scientist, P.O. Box 3655, Warrenton, VA 20188.

A celebration of her life will be held at the home of her son Scott Ziemer and his wife Carol, 6370 Midway Road, Crozet, VA 22932 at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 4. Phone 540-456-6932.
