Ironically in an effort to improve distribution,
the Rappahannock News switched printers at
the end of June.
Since then, we have been receiving numerous complaints - primarily from our readership in the Flint Hill and Chester Gap areas - that they are not getting their papers on time or not getting them at all.
Our office manager, Jan Clatterbuck, has been faithfully following up on all concerns. Our circulation department in Warrenton is well aware of the problem.
As with any longstanding relationship, there will be ups and downs.
As a local, community newspaper, we highly value our customers and value your input. We look forward to continuing to serve our readership as we have done and hope that you, as our readership, will continue to be patient as we work through this logistical snag.
Some of you have gotten so frustrated that you are contemplating canceling your subscription. That is, of course, your choice but we would rather that you give us a bit more time to work through this ditch.
