Everyone knows the feeling of trying to complete a jigsaw puzzle only to find that one piece is missing. We know in our mind’s eye what the missing piece’s shape and color are by the other pieces surrounding it. In life we often strive to see the entire picture but in reality we rarely are supplied with all the pieces to the puzzle. Likewise with great art.
