Surviving are her husband of 75 years Rev. John Edward Jenkins; one son Edward Clayton “Pete” Jenkins and his wife Sandra of Flint Hill; two daughter-in-laws Kay Jenkins and Laura Jenkins; and one sonin-law Robert Whorton; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughters Pblly Edna Woodward and Jessie Virginia Whorton; two sons , John Henry Jenkins and Charles William Jenkins; and a grandson Johnny Ray Jenkins.
Pallbearers will be greatgrandsons Wesley Corbin, Allen Corbin, Jeffrey Compton, Brian Compton, Tommy Settle, Jonathan Miller, and Jeremy Miller.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, from 7-8 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
