She was bom on November 28, 1929 in Rappahannock County to William Ashby and Lillie Pearl Wharton.
Mrs. Compton is the wife of the late Warren Emerson Compton, Sr.
She is survived by her nine children Linda Colvin and her husband Joseph of Viewtown, Polly Haines and her husband Donald of Front Royal, Mary Huff and her husband Steve of Tampa. FI., Warren E.
