Forty-two noted local artists will participate in the 2007 Wakefield Country Day School’s annual “Art from the Heart” show and auction this Saturday, Dec. 1. To accommodate the growing number of professional artists participating, including exemplary student works of art, the show and silent auction will be held in the auditorium of the school at 7:00 p.m. The live auction begins at 8:30 p.m.

In addition to the beautifiil works of art that will be offered in both the silent and live auctions, a special drawing card this year will be the delectable hors d’oeuvres to be served at both the Patron’s Reception and the General Reception. The chef is Dayn Smith, a graduate of the renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and a successful restaurateur in Puerto Rico who now lives in Huntly.
