hi spile of the cold weather, insects, mites and diseases are stW present in and around your landscape plants. Damage from these pests is evident even now. Some, such as the hemlock woolly adelgid, actually teed during the winter. Most though, are dormant in the form of eggs, pupae, or larvae. One of the best ways of preventing pest damage this coming spring is to have your plants treated with horticultural spray oil.
