Washington Baptist Church will be serving up their annual Brunswick Stew or Christmas Chili this coming Sunday, Dec. 2, from 13 p.m. in conjunction with the Christmas in Little Washington celebration. Count on rolls, combread and apple pie as well. A gingerbread house will be awarded to a lucky winner and for $1.50 each, you can decorate a gingerbread cookie - all decorating goodies provided. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4.00 for children 8 and under. Please plan to attend and be sure and wish Carol Beard a Happy Birthday. Her special day is Saturday. Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Amissville will have their Building Fund service on Dec. 2. Forest Freeman of Promise Land Baptist Church will be the 3 p.m. guest preacher.
