“Art from the Heart” Art Show
Save the Date: Wakefield Country Day School (WCDS) is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual “Art from the Heart” Art Show will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1. For the past five years, this event has been a great success - last year featuring the works of 30 local professional artists, as well as artistic creations by WCDS students. December’s show again promises to provide a wonderful opportunity to obtain beautiful works of art for your personal collection or for holiday gifts. Acting as an “art gallery for a day," WCDS will provide a venue to admire the works of well-known area artists in a variety of media including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, bronzes and jewelry. Proceeds help support and enhance the school’s fine arts programs, including its art curriculum, and provide scholarships to deserving students.
