Feeling a little like I was channeling Hugh Grant from the movie “Notting Hill” - the scene where he attends a movie star’s press conference under the made-up guise of being a reporter from England’s Horse and Hound magazine - I felt almost like a pretender. Except it wasn’t made up.
The time: 10:27 a.m. Monday morning. The place: Huddled with a scrum of aggressive pool photographers on the White House lawn. All of whom were a bit jacked on caffeine and more that a little angry because the Middle East peace conference shoot was delayed for this “soft” event.
