Well, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Some of the businesses in town have already decorated their shops.

The Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association members are busy with final plans for the big day on Sunday, Dec: 2. This year the parade begins at 1 p.m.

Kevin Adams has a host of artisans who will be selling their holiday items at two locations - Ki Theatre and the Washington Town Hall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Some of the businesses are planning open houses including Cory Caulfield Gallery, Geneva Welch, Hair Gallery, Heritage House, R.H. Ballard, Rappahannock News and Rose Hill Veterinary.

Join Washington Baptist Church for their Brunswick Stew along with gingerbread decorating.

While phone lines were busy all last week, I finally got through to the North Pole over the weekend. Santa Claus assured me that he plans to visit The Town Square in Little - Washington on Dec. 2.
