In keeping with the goals of the Democratic Party of Virginia, all Democratic county committees are required to reorganize from bottom to top every two years. During December in all odd years, a new Democratic Committee is elected in Rappahannock by Democrats who are registered to vote here. That new Committee then elects its new officers.
With this reorganization, the local Democratic Committee is reaching out to new and former members. The Democratic Presidential Primary this coming February and the Presidential election following in November will provide much important work for many hands. All current members of the Committee are asked to rethink their roles and to bring a friend and recruit to the Reorganization/Breakfast meeting.
