Vicki Lynn Hawkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Hawkins, became the bride of Glenn Victor Gera on May 17, 1980. in the Arlington United Methodist Church.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Gera, and all are from Arlington.
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey L. Lillard of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar B. Hawkins of Washington are grandparents of the bride.
The double ring ceremony was performed at two o’clock in the afternoon by the Rev. William J. Burleigh.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of white chiffonella designed with long, full sleeves and a high neckline. Alencon lace decorated the neckline and fitted bodice which was accented with mini-pearls and sequins. The chapel train fell from a back yoke defined by Alencon lace and her veil was attached to a lace headpiece.

4-H Horse and
Pony Meeting
An organizational meeting of the 4-H Horse and Pony Club will be held Thursday, June 19, with a discussion centering on the possibilities of a horse clinic. The meeting is set for 8 p.m. at Birchgate in Amissville. Parents are urged to attend and see the facility at Birchgate which is reached by turning left off Route 211 east of Amissville onto Route 613 and left again onto Route 669.
