NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on

April 25, 1980, adopted the following amended or new regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29 126 and 29 127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective July 1, 1980.

CHAPTER 6. Deer.

R6-7.2. The bag limit for deer shall be one a day and two a license year, either sex the last hunting day only, in the counties of Greene (except on Rapidan Wildlife Management Area) and Madison (except on Raidan Mangement Area) and Madison (except on Rapidan Wildlife Management Area); and on BuckinghamAppomattox State Forest, Cumberland State Forst, Powhatan Wildlife Management Area and Prince Edward State Forest.

R6-7.4. Hill nonimpact areas), Charles City, Charlotte, Chesterfield (except Presquile National Wildlife Refuge), Culpeper (except on Chester F. Phelps Wildlife Management Area), Cum berland (except on Cumberland State Forest), Dinwiddie (except on Fort Pickett), Fauquier (except on Chester F. Phelps and G. Richard Thompson Wildlife Management Areas and QuanticoMarine Reservation), Fluvanna, Gloucester, Goochland, Halifax, Hanover, Henrico, James City, Louisa, Loudoun, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nelson (east of Route 151), New Kent, North ampton, Nottoway (except on Fort Pickett), Orange, Pittsylvania (east of Southern Railroad), Powhatan (except on Powhatan Wildlife Management Area), Prince Edward (except on Prince Edward State Forest). Prince William (except on Harry Diamond Laboratory and Quantico Marine Reservation), Rappahannock, Spotsylanvia, Stafford (except on Quantico Marine Reservation), and York (except on Camp Peary, Cheatham Annex and Naval Weapons Station); in the cities of Hampton (except on Langley Air Force Base) and Newport News (except on Fort Eustis); and on Fort A. P. Hill (impact areas).

CHAPTER 12. Opossum.

R12-1. Except as otherwise specifically provided by the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to hunt opossum in all counties east of the Blue Ridge Mountains from November 1 through the last day of 'February, both dates inclusive.

CHAPTER 16. Raccoon. R16-5. Except as otherwise provided by local legislation and with the specific exceptions provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to
