of the council, Miller requested that it be changed. (Washington’s mayor was recently appointed to the Rappahannock County School Board which also meets on the second Tuesday of the month.) By unanimous vote, sessions of the town council will not be held on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning at 7:30 in the court house.

In other action, the council approved the proposed town budget for fiscal year 1980-81 presented by treasurer Fisher. The single sheet of figures neatly typed on town stationery showed estimated income of $11,159, primarily derived from bank stock tax ($6,500), revenue sharing ($2,000), sales tax ($1,400) and A.B.C. profits ($1,000). Major expenses listed included $990 in salaries, $3,000 for maintenance.
