Roger Lee Smoot and John » Hamilton Williams, both of jjtyatbington. will be among, the 227 students graduating this Saturday, June 14, during the ninth commencement exercises at Lord Fairfax Community College. Thomas Byrd, general manager of the Winchester Star newspapers, will be the guest speaker and the Rev. Malcom Lerch of Stephens City Lutheran Parish Church will give the invocation and benediction. Following the conferring of degrees, Smoot, as class president, will speak on behalf of the class of 1980.

Bridge Party

Mrs. E. A. McNear was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home.

Guests were Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. l.R. Kilby, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Field Benton, Mrs. Rex Lindstrom and Mrs. Elmo Flynt.

Prize winners were Mrs. Lindstrom, Mrs. Tabler, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Chrisman and Mrs. Flynt.
