Come to the Library. We’re offering programs for all ages this summer. The following programs start June 17 and continue until August 12.
Pre-Schoolers: Story Hour at the Library every Tuesday morning from 9:30-11. All children ages 3 to 6 are invited to come and find out what we have planned for you.
Young People: Ages 6 through 12 are invited to the movies. They will be shown in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church every Tuesday morning between 9:30 and 11. A list of the movies to be shown was sent home through the Elementary School. Those who did not receive the list may pick it up at the Library.
All Ages: Children and young people of all agesenroll in our GREAT SUMMER READING ADVENTURE. This is a summer reading game to play in which you travel through the FOREST OF BOOKS to gain enough knowledge to be able to see the book monster in the castle in the middle of the Forest of Books.
The program will end with a monster party August 12. All those who finish the game will be invited. So come to the Library and sign up now.
Adults: It is not too late to enroll in our study of eight great tragedies. Our first meeting was lively and fun. The group is meeting in various homes under the leadership of Brady Corrothers, who formerly taught for a number of years in Fairfax County. Come, join us every Tuesday at 4 p.m. Call the Library for further details at 675-3780.
