To the Executive Editor:
I remember a few short years ago when you were reporting the meetings and events of the county for the Rappahannock News. You reported the news in a fair and impartial manner reserving your editorial comments and opinions for the editorial page. You did not pit citizen against citizen or neighbor against neighbor, in short your reports were fair and did not divide the community.
Frankly Sarah, I feel that many of your subscribers agree basically with Mr. Arthur Smoot's views concerning the Rappahannock News.
Please, for the sake of the community and your paper, resume your role of covering the official meetings of Rappahannock. Let someone else sell advertising. This would be a great service to our Rappahannock.
