Bruce James Register, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snead of Washington, has been named to the list of distinguished students at Purdue University for the spring semester. Register, who is majoring in science, had to achieve at least a 5.5 average on Purdue’s 6.0 system with no grade below a “C” to qualify for distinguished student rank.
Flint Hill Picnic
The annual Flint Hill community picnic sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of that village is scheduled for Sunday. June 22 at 5 p.m. at the carnival grounds. Everyone should bring a covered dish or picnic basket and join the fun and fellowship.
