The maid of honor, Bobbi Ann Wilson of Arlington, wore a long mint green gown with matching cape and picture hat. She carried a nosegay of peach carnations, pom pons, white roses and baby’s breath.
Bridesmaids were Nancy Saurer of McLean, Linda Orndorff, Guili Fatgati and Crystal Gera, sister of the bridegroom, all of Arlington. Their gowns were peach with matching capes and picture hats and their flowers were nosegays like that of the honor attendant.
Kimberly Hawkins, the bride's cousin, was flower girl. She wore a long dress of white eyelet over peach with a matching hat and carried a white lace basket with peach carnations, white tea roses and baby's breath.
Ringbearer was Danny Jacobs of Burke, a cousin of the bridegroom.
Following a buffet reception and dancing at the Knights of Columbus in Annandale. the couple left for a trip to the Bahamas.
Musical Program
The Voices of Hope from Culpeper will present a program at Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville on Sunday, June 15. at 3 p.m. This program will close out the Men’s Day Rally and is sponsored by C. C. Lewis.
The Rev. U.S. Brokenburr is the pastor and the public is invited to attend.
Swimming
Lessons
To Begin
Sursum Corda School will be sponsoring swimming lessons beginning Monday, June 16 and ending Wednesday, June 25 at a pool near Washington. Beginning lessons will be offered to preschoolers every afternoon from 3:30 - 4:45 and to school age children from 4:45 - 6:15.
The instructor for the series will be Lisa Sweeney, who has taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced lessons to children and adults. Ms. Sweeney is a certified Red Cross Senior Lifesaving instructor and has also been a lifeguard. and swimming team coach for Y.M.C.A.
Transportation will be provided to the pool by Sursum Corda School. For more information, call the school at 675-3237, weekdays.
