He noted that Rappahannock, located in the middle of the old Skyline District, could have opted to go with either the new Bull Run or the New Skyline. Bull Run was chosen because it involved the shorter traveling distances to away games.
But even with the realignment, the Panthers will still be the shortest Indians on the totem pole. Toth noted that in the Bull Run District, as in Skyline, Rappahannock has by far the smallest enrollment of any of the member schools.
