bright and inviting, the three rooms of the beauty shop were a garage in their former life. “It was my husband’s workshop with little paths through piles and piles of junk,” Lois recalled. She and her husband did all the remodeling themselves, except for plumbing and electrical work. “It was nice just to get it cleaned up so we didn't have to walk through all those old tires and bicycles," she said.
Besides enabling her to get the garage cleaned up, Lois said, operating New Adventure Hair Stylists has added some extra fun to her life. "I’ve met a lot of nice, interesting people 1 wouldn t have known otherwise. This is a very friendly place. We always have a pot of coffee going ahd something good to eat.” she concluded.
