Bluemont Country Dancers and the Bluemont Morris Dancers for many years, and has called dances throughout this area. His style of calling is exciting and easily understood as he walks the dancers through each dance before the music begins.
Contraband has been performing almost four years. Playing guitar and flute is Ken Haltenhoff, of Bluemont; Tabby Finch, of Hillsboro, one of the east coast’s premiere hammered dulcimer players, provides the band with piano and harmonium as well. Finally, playing fiddle and mandolin, though not simultaneously, is Joe DeZarn of Millwood.
Admission is $2.50 per person and children are admitted free. Those attending usually bring desserts or drinks to share during intermission. For more information, call 987-8403.
